On Thursday January 18th, a crowd of roughly 2000 people amassed before the offices of NY senators Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand in protest of the PROTECT IP Act (AKA PIPA, the Senate version of SOPA, the Internet censorship bill). The protest was organized by The New York Tech Meetup.
